It’s that time of year when we leave behind the troubles and tribulations of the past and move ahead, turn a new leaf and make those infamous New Year’s Resolutions (which are notoriously never kept).
With a new year comes the opportunity for growth, reflection and ambition. It is the perfect time to set aside time and try and plan what your goals are for the year and even make a plan of how you are going to achieve these goals.
I asked a friend of mine about their plans for the new year and what they hope to get out of it.
“It’s inevitable that we’re going to feel like this is a time of change but I actually hope that change will come. For one, I tried to set myself a realistic new year’s resolution and that was just to try and get back into playing the piano a few times a week, something which I love to do but have not had the opportunity to just due to being so busy”
So perhaps, there is a hobby of yours that you have neglected for a while, this may be the time to fall back in love with it.
